“ First time here & Karely was our server. She was very attentive to every table even ones that weren't in her area. I got the mild chilaquiles w scrambled eggs (rice & beans included) & omg these exceeded my expectations, definitely will be back for those! Everything had such bold flavors, nothing needed any added salt or pepper which is rare for a diner (in my opinion). Very welcoming aura as well. I love the retro decor. Cant wait to come back, I miss it already!! ”

“ Great breakfast place! We come here once a month for breakfast. We are always pleased with the food and the servers are great! There are so many offerings it often takes a bit to figure out what to order, too many options is a good thing! I tried their chicken and Waffle for the first time, OMG such a great waffle! Generous portions and it is hard to leave with out leftovers. Their salsa is homemade and amazing! We also.taken whole pies to go. Excellent! Not sure when they nake them. Sometimes we are there, pies are just out of the oven and piping hot, other times just going into the oven. Best to ask when you first vist down. This place gets very busy on the weekends. Lots of larger parties. Go early if you don't want to wait or sit at the counter. Parking - there is a decent sized lot but it fills up when it is busy. ”

“ The scramble and chilaquiles are so good. I definitely enjoyed the chilaquiles! Perfect amount of crunch and some soaked in delicious salsa roja goodness. I definitely needed sour cream to balance the heat. Some avocado cream would be nice. Still not complaining because everything is good. Service is always top. And our favorite is just sitting near the counter watching all the plates move in seconds. ”

“ We had a late breakfast/brunch here at the Heritage Family Pantry. We had a bit of a wait, but not too long. The serving staff were friendly and attentive and our food was quickly served to us. Classic American diner fare, pancakes, sausages, chicken-fried steak, toast, coffee. I went out on a limb and ordered the eggs benedict which was delicious; the eggs were perfectly poached and served on top of thick slices of ham. The restaurant itself is a a mid-century gem in the Southern California Googie architectural style. ”

“ My Wife was craving menudo and believe it or not this is her local go to spot for it . I got ham & eggs , pictured is a side of biscuits & gravy . The portions here are huge , the service is spot on and its very clean. These guys have random good specials which is cool to mix it up . They make lots of their items in house like the bread & cinnamon rolls. ”

“ The best place to get food anywhere in LA whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. We came in on 7-13-24 around 10:45am to get some breakfast while the car was being serviced. I ordered the raisin bread french toast which is my favorite and its good every time. The portions not only for the french toast but every food item are large where you will need 2 people to finish. Our server was Kevin R. and he was professional and nice. Great place with food, friendly staff and prices. You will not go wrong coming here. ”

“ This place hits the spot. I was looking for some good comfort diner food, and this place was it. They make their own bread. The rye bread is delicious and goes well with gravy. I really like their pancakes. They're light and fluffy. I was actually quite impressed by it. I ordered the country fried steak, and it taste comforting. It's been awhile since I've gone to a diner and this place has really good food. It's also a large portion that I can't finish by myself. Service was also excellent. They came by often checking on our table for coffee refill and check on us. This place was packed, and I would say they were quite quick with service. This place has a lot as well as street parking. If you're looking for something homey, definitely check this place out. ”

“ Service was quick and friendly. Food was your no frills American breakfast fare. Decent amount of parking in the back of the restaurant. The restaurant had an old school diner vibe. Saw several folks there, some playing cards, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Seemed like a spot the locals frequent, and for good reason. ”

“ Everything here is yummy. From the start of the chicken tortilla soup, there were the creamy soup with chicken chunks and fresh crunchy tortilla chips. The crispness of the onion ring and zucchini's were outstanding. It doesn't have any of that old fryer taste that you get at fast food places. They were all highlights. The over-sized zucchini's were ridiculous, each one could have fed an army. The denseness of the homemade garlic bread along with its crunchy exterior was done to perfection. The food came with amazing service. The waitress allowed me to order the dinner item before noon, so I jumped at the fried zucchini's and the onion rings along with the country fried steak. Super love this place and will be back whenever I'm getting my motorcycle repaired around here ”
